Thrust ball bearings
Thrust ball bearing is a type of bearing specifically designed to withstand axial loads. It consists of inner and outer rings and steel balls. The steel balls are placed in the spherical grooves between the inner and outer rings, forming a spherical rolling surface. When an axial load is applied to the shaft, the inner and outer rings will move relative to each other along the axis, while the steel balls will roll on the spherical rolling surface, allowing the bearing to withstand axial loads.
Thrust ball bearings are commonly used to support large loads and high-speed rotating shafts. Their design allows them to withstand both axial and radial loads without generating excessive friction and heat. In addition, thrust ball bearings can operate in high temperature and low temperature environments, and have a long service life.
